Has anyone noticed....

Yep, its beautiful. And it will keep coming down. As as economics major(in training, however :p), I've researched this a lot and was waiting for it to happen. I think it will go as low as 3.40 or 3.50 before it levels out. What was once a safe bet for money making has now become a bit unstable(oil speculation as they call it). Two bills going through congress that make it unsuitable as we speak, and the fact they just found a shtload of oil in the arctic circle. Let's hope I'm right :).

yea i was talkin gallons cause when i posted that i was the only canadian member so it would be easier for them, im just that nice of a guy...lol jokkin...wait..not sayin im not a nice guy, ask koda what i just done for him several minutes ago!! lol, seriously DONT, koda if they ask, nothing happened :c-n:.....so, anyways......gas prices suck these days dont they?

Boggin told me a story and now I can't sleep because it gave me nightmares. :fie:

kick it up a notch

Boggin told me a story and now I can't sleep because it gave me nightmares. :fie:

Nightmares? i dont get many of those anymore. Tell you what I sometimes do now for thrills/some adrenaline +fear.

Go watch 28 days/weeks later movie(s). Download the "In the house, in a heartbeat" song. Put it on real loud and try and take a full length shower without looking out from the shower curtain.
first time = didn't last the whole 4 minute song, got out and turned it off, switched to "yellow submarine"
second time = kept peering out from behind the curtain, and wishing the shower didn't make so much zombie attracting noise
third time = wondered if my screams would be audible over the music when the zombies tackled me and started in.

and so on....

on the gas topic.

pretty consistently around $1.40 / L for me, northern Alberta, where we fkcuing grow oil

Boggin, are you using the Imperial gallon (about 4.5L / Gal) or the U.S. Gallon ( 3.78L / Gal), I don't see how gas would be nearly $7 there as in BC and Alberta its sitting in the low $5 range still (dropped from $1.339/L to 1.274-1.289/L here in Calgary). What is gas per liter there?

yea my dad is working up there on a gas plant, CEDA is his company, he said that their company has alot of expenses, he said the throw out about 1 and a half dumptruck loads of leftover food a day, yea, a day, and work gloves....they set out so many pairs, at the end of the day, workers throw out all the brand new gloves, get another pair thenext day, and at the end of the day, if theres any gloves left over, garbage, dad says that part of the reason gas is so high here is because the company have sky high expenses

it was around 1.55 when i got my nan to make it up to gallons, I dont know what she did, but she went from $1.55L to $7.00 a gallon, but she could be easily wrong, sorry if she is..???

It's against the surgeon general's warning (that's colonel in Canadian dollars) to listen to anything Boggin says. He's 12 years old and not old enough to buy gas (read the side of the pump). I was given the job of babysitting him on TRS. I'm going to ban him when I get around to it. I've been too lazy lately to figure out hosw to do that.

Sidenote Boggin, gas there at $1.55 comes to $$5.859 Canadian, and the dollar is fairly close to par, nothing to cause a dramatic change in the price, a few cents, really.

Regular is at $4.21 a gallon here, I've seen it as low as $4.09 near the girlfriend's house. I would make the effort to buy it there, but with my usual fill-ups about 2.5 gallons, it's not worth the effort.

Even at the crap-tastic Arco station it $4.12, and that's saying something. Usually their watered down "gas" is about 15-30 cents cheaper a gallon.

I'm curious what the prices will be like as I make my way down the coast in a couple weeks to N. Cal.

I figure it'll go down until the election in november. LOL just my .02 though.

It's hovering around $3.90 now for the low grade.

What I find irritating is, when a barrel goes up $6.00, a gallon seems to go up $0.24. When a barrel goes down $11.00, a gallon seems to drop $0.07..............greedy bastiges

Too Many Expletives

This is General, not The Garage. Please tone it down.

As far as gas, notice how it shoots up like a rocket, but floats down like a feather?

I've heard it's because they don't want to lose money on the fuel that's already in their tanks.

Sure. When it was going up 10cents a day, what about the fuel, that was already bought cheaper, sitting in the tanks?

Ahh, something to complain about!
