Has any one successfully used 6x9s on 2001-up?

Yup. I don't know of anyone else here who has these yet.
I'm confident they'll beat the shit out of most 6x9's.

I can talk about these speakers all day. I'd rather not talk about door panels, though.

I think you guys just saved me the tedious and risky task of modifying the speaker holes.
Using the factory size will accomodate a cleaner looking install with less chance of issues.

NOW, if I can just find a N.O.S. Kenwood KDC-522 or KDC-X569 head unit.
These are discontinued and I'm not too fond of the newer head units out there.

Good luck it sounds like a few people have had luck ordering thru them but i would never go thru them after reading just 1 of the negative reviews, and theres quite a few negative ones.

I read all the reviews. They were so bad that it made the few positive ones seem fake.

It's a good thing I used a credit card and not a debit card or check.
Worst case scenario the stuff doesn't come then I file a dispute and let the credit card company fight it out.
Inconvenient-yes, but at least it's not a loss.

Update:
It's been 6 days and no tracking number.
The invoice says they will send a tracking number within 7 days.
So, I sent an email asking if the equipment will go out by tomorrow and if it doesn't please cancel the order.
We'll see what happens...

someone on ranger power sports just got screwed by them, they never shipped and wont respond to him. id start the chargeback process now.

i just want to get the word out to never....i repeat NEVER order anything from DealerCostCarAudio.com. there customer service is terrible and it takes absolutley forever to process anything. i cancled my order 13 days ago and have yet to see a penny of the money. meanwhile i have all of my stuff(subs,amp,wires,box) waiting for me to pick it up at my local shop. i cant get it until i get the money from DealerCost....
