I cant seem to find them but yet there's kits for the 2.3L & 3.0L up to 92 & 95-2011? I have cross checked with O'Reilly's and the 94 2.3 & 3.0 use the same flywheel as the 96 2.3 & 3.0, they also use the same slave cylinder & the disc & spline count are the same if both use the 8 7/8 ,yet 9 1/8 is also available for 3.0.

I can get a XTR STAGE 1 CLUTCH KIT+SLAVE CYL w/ throw out bearing that come with a 9 1/8 Full Face Organic disc is resistant to slippage and burst. For $147.20 w/free shipping

Or the XTR RACING STAGE 3 CLUTCH KIT SET w/o slave ,but comes with new throw out bearing & is 8 7/8 6-puck Copper Ceramic (also known as MIBA) disc features high-coefficient friction pads that are resistant to slippage and burst. For $139.94 w/ free shipping

both kits come with pressure plate, alignment tool & pilot bearing.

My 94 has the 2.3L with 4.10 8.8LSD, I have a business of recycling appliances & usually always have a heavy load on truck plus tow a 6x12 flatbed that at times has more then 3200 lbs on it.

Stock clutch kits last about 1 1/2-2 years, but I figured a performance clutch should last even longer.

My truck also has a 5.5 suspension lift & is 2wd for now, plan a SAS 4wd conversion. also plan to run 265/75/16 Load E tires which are 32" & either 4.56 or 4.88 gears.

Currently running 30x9.50/15LT

What kit do you guys think I should buy?

Stage 1 should be sufficient. Honestly id get a luk pro gold.

Im actually thinking of getting a Center force Dual Friction, & the 3.0 & 2.3 can use the same kit, they show 8.975 in diam. disc for both engines for $298.19 & the 9.125 in. Diameter Disc 0nly for the 3.0 for $338.38, Yet both engines take the same flywheel , slave cylinder & pilot bearing.

which disc should perform the best?

I'm surprised more people haven't commented. Search there some good threads in this

you must not realize how many pages of info that shows up that doesn't even pertain to your search. That is what I call a waste of time

I have a napa LUK in mine, works flawless on locked 4.56 axles with 35 boggers, never once had a slip in mud. Only had dirt wedge the pressure plate teeth so it wouldnt rest against the flywheel.

like others have said go with the luk.

racing clutches are not made for long term use and would most likely wear out sooner then later.. just my 2 cents

I went aftermarket when I put the clutch in my F-150. I forget the brand but IIRC it was a Stage 1 or 2 clutch. Never had an issue with it slipping and I've put over 40k on it now. The problem I've had is that it's so sticky it's hard to slip the clutch at times when you need to. It just wants to grab and go and my mighty 300 straight six just doesn't seem to have the go to overcome that and let it slip. So I'm on the fence about getting a stickier clutch without having a lot of ponies running loose under the hood.

Go with the centerforce stock replacement friction disk and the centerforce pressure plate with the weights (you have to buy them separately I believe... that's how I got them), that's what I did and have absolutely no regrets, that thing is sticky... don't go with the puck style clutches as I hear bad things about them driveability wise where this setup is a perfect balance in my book... I was having the same mileage on the luc clutches lasting around 2 years...
