A big and grateful thank you to all the vets today who sacrific so much to keep us safe and secure. My grandpa was a Korean vet and I do as much for the troops as I can.

I especially want to extend this thanks to the Vietnam vets because I know they didn't get the nice, welcome homecoming greetings that they deserved.

Enjoy this day and go to Applebee's (I hear the vets eat free there today!!:icon_thumby:)

X2. i know we have some vets on here so thank you for all you have done for us.

funny ......... my kids have to go to school on Veteran's day but get MLK day off

I know. MLK was a good man, a great man, but to honor the troops who fight and gave it their all should be a well-remembered holiday.

Amen Iron. Thank you Vets for all you have done in peace and in war,God Bless You.

I think I just went to my first non-mandatory Veteran Day Service...it was actually quite moving...

Thanks to those who remembered to remember...and to those who fought, those who died in the line of duty, and those serving...

A big WELCOME HOME to all the Vets out there.

And Thanks everyone!

First off, THANK YOU & YOUR WELCOME!!!

Desert Storm was my Vietnam, I know not as long, or as BAD, but it was durin my time!

GOD BLESS those that were before me, with me, after me, and especially the ones that gave the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE!!!

We will never forget.

Happy Veterans Day!!

It's rememberance day and I will remember.

Thanks to all who have served or are currently serving.

The free meal at Applebee's is a kind gesture but when I went last year the wait to be seating was around 3 hours. Not worth the wait.

Oh. That sucks!!

If I owned a restaurant, I'd be doing the same thing, but kinda "reserve" the place for the vets & families.

If I owned an auto parts store, your purchase would be 75% off, stuff under $100 free. Might cause a Black Friday stampede, but it would be well worth it just to give back to the soldiers.

Thanks too all who served and to the fallen who defended our freedom!

I am so glad to see the honor and respect given to soldiers of all times and branches from the last remaining ww1 soldier (I can't remember his name and I truelly am sorry about that.) to the Youngest and newest troop lacing his/her boots for the first time...
