I'm staying home and watching scary movies with the lights off. Got a couple visious kittens to keep me safe from the boogie man if he should come around.

The porch lights actually been burnt out for most of the year lol

This part of town really doesn't see much (if any) trick or treaters though. Even though I'm only 3 measely miles from the center of town.. there's just not much in the way of real-deal neighborhoods out this way to go door to door in.

It was kinda lame when I was little... Naturally the town was a lot smaller 30 years ago.. not a single "housing development" back then and really only one U shaped street that could be considered a "neighborhood"... But at least both town hall & the middle school always had (& hopefully still have) 'big' Halloween shindigs for the kids with all the usual goodies and games and costume contests and stuff.


Hell.. now that Im thinking about it... Ill don't think I'll ever live somewhere where I'll get to give candy to the kiddos on Halloween and that's kinda a bummer. At least it saves me money I guess.. I just know I'd go way TF overboard with candy and decorations and stuff

We never get trick or treaters, either.

Our street is about 3/4 mile long and only about 15 houses with the houses set about 100 feet back off the street
