And that is why I never carry original cd's in my truck. First thing I do when I buy a new CD is to take it home, rip it onto my comp and burn a copy. Sure, the copies don't hold up all that well, but I can make a lot of copies of a disk for the $15 a replacement would cost (and I have a few cd's that are hard to replace). That sucks.
My old Sport Trac got broken into when it was left at the dealer overnight waiting on a part. Smashed two windows and stole my XM and all my CD's. I figure they thought the XM was a GPS, because when I call XM to report it stolen it becomes an instant paperweight.
Dealer fixed it, got me a new XM (better than the one I had), and paid me $200 for the CD's. Upside, they never noticed the $400 Valentine One radar detector under the seat.Downside, one of the CD's was autographed and I can't replace that.

Now there is always a proper tool to chase intruders with handy........
Now why would he take the blood sugar kits? Freaking moron, I wish him bad karma and ill health. Sorry this had to happen.
I live in the city and I have found my trucks broken into a total of three times. I quit leaving anything of value visible in the cabs, also found that if I back them into the driveway where the cab is more visible from the street it is less likely to get broken into. Also leave the outside lights on the house on all night, only costs about a buck a night to run three CFL's, cheap insurance in my book.
