Sorry to hear that but as others have said in time it gets better and you accept it. seen more dead people then iv cared to see and iv become adjusted to it but i still can remember every one and i doubt il ever forget them.
as sad as it is to say you were lucky in that he was passed and long gone its harder when your at that point were you can possibly bring them back but they let go and you lose them.

I never understood the feeling to need to take ones own life. I came back form iraq to an 8months old prego wife. I lost my house, And I stuck it out and things got alittle better. I have a new wife and daughter, and Im happy. Then we moved up here to tennessee, and 4 months now still no job. IM fixing to be evicted wiht no place to go, all the shelters are full from here to virginia, as well as campgrounds.(affordable ones) I have 8 days to be out. Still no job. It makes me feel like an absolutely shitty parent taht I cant provide for my kids, but I would never consider taking my own life, It's just selfish. Its taking the easy way out, and requires no courage at all.

I have a heartfelt sadness for the family and child, however I dont feel bad for him at all. If we can go through stuff like this and still see the light..... its no different than running out on his family when times got tough. Madoff is the one who killed himself in the news right??? Why, over money? Debt? I just don't understand, until your actually dead, it's never hopeless.

its pretty bad here too. my sister works at a cematary and she told me that it seems like rates of people takeing there own lives is riseing. i hope it gets better for ya. thanks for your service

dude, i feel for you that you had to be the one to find the guy, but honestly i could care less about him, if he felt he had to take his own life then so be it, to many idiots are reproducing and the world is overpopulated anyways, look at it this way, he took himself out without taking anyone else out like mall shooters or driving into heavy traffic, its just one less person on welfare, good riddance. sorry to sound so callus but for every one person that pulls there own weight through life there is 10 people that just mooch and barely get through only because other people help them out or they get government checks.

i feel for you man, i got into to this fight in school with and i told i hope he got hit by a car that day and come to find out he got hit by a drunk driver that day!!!!!A friend of my watch this guy burn to death in a car and he tried to get him out but he hit a tree and the steering wheel was pushing against his chest and he called 911 right away but by the time they got there he was burned alive but luckily for him hes was not couscous when he was burning !!!!!!!!

It's hard seeing death but eventually you will get past it. it just take time, and dont be afraid to talk to others how you feel. I have seen death more times than i would like, but the worst was a bunch of us were hangin out at our fire house, and a car went flying past. One of the guys said "we'll be scraping them off the pavement if they keep that up." a vw jetta doesn't fare to well against a tree at 130.... if you know any one who is in the emergency services talk to them, they might be abel to offer you some help.

It is unfortunate that you had to go through this. Busy hands are happy hands. If your mind is occupied then you will not think about. Try falling asleep with the TV on or the radio playing. White noise should help calm your nerves.
