Has anyone here ever used gunbroker.com or any sites like it to sell any firearm? If so what were the pro's and con's? I want to sell a rifle and was thinking of using gunbroker.

I have not used gun broker to buy or sell. I can however tell you that firearms transfers between individuals do NOT have to be completed by an FFL dealer if you meet face to face. That being said the person buying your firearm may lie about their ability to legally own a firearm. Do a google search on a firearms bill of sale. Have the bill of sale signed by both buyer and seller and get the Drivers licenense info of your buyer. This will give you some form of protection if the weapon is ever used in a crime. As always be safe and meet face to face during the day in a public yet inconspicuos place (the far end of a big box store parking lot). If the weapon is to be shipped it must be sent overnight to an FFL dealer of the buyers choosing. (This method does require the typical background check etc.) When buying a firearm from an individual ask more questions than would ever be necessary. If you get one questionable response walk away. Pro: very easy to sell , FFL not always required and you can haggle over price trades etc. Cons: possibility you may buy a stolen or damaged firearm (always inspect and if unfamiliar or unsure have it looked over by a qualified smith)
