I Have a 2000 XLT 3.0 2wd and I noticed it has a bit of a lean on the front towards the drivers side. I am curious what part needs to be replaced to correct this, the shock or the strut?

I am planning on going up from the 225/70/R15 to something larger maybe 31's?

so I was thinking about a leveling kit to bring the front up to fit.

But depending on how much it costs to repair the lean in the front should I just get lift springs?

Thanks for your help.

Do you have a full tank of gas?

Springs control ride height. Shocks are dampeners only. If you use struts(didn't realize rangers came with struts) then you need to replace the coil. Hit the junk yards or check online. Good luck to you.
