after that vid was shot,i spent a few moments playing with the carb settings and got it to idle,but i had to shut it down.it has no coolant yet,so i only have about a minute and a half before it gets too hot to be safe.

also,to those wondering what the rumbling sound is before the engine starts,thats the fan blowing exhaust out the window.

I'm sure... especially if its running rich

it was....the chokes were closed when starting.i did have the power hooked up to them,though,so they were openning as it was running.

also,i mentioned that it didn't start right away.at this point it was cranking,and fuel was going through without being burned filling the air in the house with fumes.even with the fan going,it smells pretty bad in here right now.

especially with the sound quality on that one.

i'm real happy with how quickly it starts,and i can tell that once i get it out where i can tune the carbs properly it'll run real smoothly.i can't wait till i get to that point.
