Gt-12

Still looking good, Gwaii. Those Frenched lights and the clear covers will be interesting to see when completed...

And the V-belt will make it run sooner. Less distractions. It's just a belt.

I still think your upper intake & carb setup is awesome...for some reason, that and your fender work are my favorites of this project so far.

thanks.i really enjoy doing the fancy metal work.it's fun taking plain hunk of metal and making something interesting out of it.sure eats up a lot of time,though.

I do have a quick question for ya....on your lower front suspension arm....will you have a link to control fore/aft movement of the arm???

Shouldn't need it since it's an A-arm, right?

not yet.....right now it's just a single arm with a bushing at one end and the balljoint at the other.i'll use a radius strut like on the early mustangs.

Ah ok so it's similar to a beam, but shorter.

BTW Gwaii, the other day I was offered a 440 for the ranger. The only way I could figure out to make the suspension still work even if I did get it in there was to make the shocks mount off of the block. I thought it was a solution worthy of your projects lol

that would be an interesting one.....i built a 440 for a ramcharger on 44s a few years back.that's a good sized lump of iron.

Yeah it is. My friend apparently has 5 or 6 BBDs sitting in his shop. a 440 six pack ranger would be nutty.

considering what you have accomplished so far....why would anyone question your decisions about the cosmetics....or mechanicals for that matter :dunno::dunno::icon_rofl:

keep it up :icon_thumby::icon_thumby:

nothing to be sorry for,kris.like i said....i like the input.you never know when someone will come up with something i hadn't thought of.as long as people don't get upset if i don't do what they suggest.

and i don't think railman meant for anyone to take offence,either.:icon_thumby:

well,the argon came in today so i got to carry on with the header.....

i got the primary collectors and secondary tubes welded up,now i can get the three pairs made into one piece,and get the secondary collector fitted up.this means making a pokey bit where the three tubes come together to smooth flow into the collector.
