Worse than a woman! :nono:

hey,it's still the only 2.9 i've ever seen that doesn't have lifter tick.

don't want to chance messing that up by doing something silly like changing the oil:icon_hornsup:

You probably just can't hear the tick over the compressor pump running.

the 2.9 lifter tick i'm familliar with you'd hear over a 747 taking off.

the compressor is actually pretty quiet.from in the house(which it 15' away)i can't tell if it's running unless i open the back door.with the racket some of the compressors i've had in the past made, this one makes me quite happy.

i still need to put the top plate on it,i'll do that tomorrow if i have time(damn work)and then i might just make a second one.that way i'll have a spare already made,i can paint it up at the same time so it'll be ready to use.

BTW you can tell this isn't a real Z24 by the emblem, Z24s had a hollowed out red bow tie.

There always has to be someone come along and contaminate the thread.

i'm making one out of aluminum,it will be chromed.just thin vertical slats.

it's a pretty standard layout....licence plate in the middle,a vent on either side.

So long as the hard drive is still in one piece you can almost always have it saved by a data recovery specialist.

that was my thought....the big factor seems to be what it'll cost.what i've been hearing is that it can cost thousands to do a difficult recovery...i'm not sure just how much those pics are worth to me.

But you're an essential member of the TRS family, those pics are part of our heritage and must be recovered at any price! :icon_rofl:
