Gt-12

ya,that's in the fullsize section.this is my grocery getter/school bus.

And how many engines/transmissions/transfercases you have stashed in that thing?? Gonna try and squeeze a V16 from a cesna or old fighter jet in that one?? I've been thinking of making my 4 door dually a 6 door for some time...just haven't found a donor yet... :icon_thumby:

just the stock drivetrain....5.8,zf5,56,60,10.25.

when i bought it i got a two-for one deal,a pair of old logging company crew crummys that had been sitting on the side of a logging road for a few years.did a bit of clean up and sawzall work, and bobs-yer-uncle,there it is:icon_confused:.

Something I've noticed just now, it seems like the less real estate you have to work with, the more you try to cram in there (gt-12, the ranger, the sploder.) Then when you have more real estate than Russia you keep things nearly stock (the stretch 350) I totally dig it, just trying to understand whats going on inside that head of yours.

I know I've asked for more than I can handle, but it had to be asked.

The answer to that question is easy. He needs something he considers fairly normal as a daily driver.

that's a very dangerous venture.i don't think any sane person wants to go down that road:D

sounds reasonable.......ya,we'll go with that:icon_cheers:

Just wondering how bad did the stretch affect the fuel milage?

it actually didn't affect it at all.it only added about 300lbs or so to the truck, and on the highway it would be slightly more aerodynamic(higher aspect ratio)

You think i'm sane?

:icon_rofl:sorry,i should have known better:headbang:

Most of out members have a few screws loose but gwaii started taking his screws out and using them on projects until he went completely bonkers.

problem is,now i'm out of screws so i have to use duct tape:icon_thumby:

so,that metal i had on the truck.......some may be wondering what it has to do with this car.

what i need to do is build a custom enclosed trailer for the car to live in,as i don't want it out in the weather and if i want to use it in some distant location i'm not driving it there-i'll trailer it and bring it out where i want to use it.

what i have here is the material for the frame of that trailer,as well as a quad trailer i'm building for a customer.the quad trailer will have a complex frame shape and i need a solid, flat base to build it on.so i'll build the car trailer frame which is just a simple rectangle, and use it as the jig for the quad trailer.

sound like a plan?

I think you need to create a couple of clones to help you out with the projects.

it'd never work. he'd have to feed them.

screw it there clones once they fade off you just make a new one
