i'm not sure if i should feel complimented or offended.:D

Let me know which you decide. I've only seen one or two as re-runs and I got it.

i actually started spelling it that way....but i changed it when i figured none of the young tykes here would get it:thefinger::icon_twisted:

hadn't heard you chime in for a long time, jaydub, good to see you're still on board:icon_thumby:

Over twelve hours and nobody has posted about the awesomeness of this project. OK, imagine if the pictures were in 3d, you could go down to your basement and project them real big, it would be like being there. Imagine how awesome that would be.

That would be awesome, 3d cameras, hmmm.

I'm digging the header build buddy. So I'm gathering you'll be replacing most of the rusty lower rocker on the one side, before the side pipes go on? So what will you use to attach them to the car body with? Are you solid mounting them or using rubber to isolate?

I just read this entire build. This is a fantastic work of know how and ingenuity.
I've always believed that one can do anything they want, once they know how to go about it. I call it 'lighting the light bulb', or the light finally went on.
Referring to old cartoons that had the bulb go one over a character's head when they got the idea. This happens with me fairly often, fortunately.

Thanks for putting this up for us all to see.
I have a swap coming up and things like this give me the confidence to just do it. Take time, although that's not hard being old, and do it the way you want the first time. Yeah, I've got a couple of those things floating around that are begging to be torn up and redone.

Thanks again!

then the mess would just show better.i keep having to push back all the crap that creeps in on this thing....space is tight enough as it is.

anyting that looks even remotely rusty will be cut out and remade.then, the body gets solidly mounted to the frame, and isolaters are used to hang the pipes.i haven't done anything for a couple of days on the car, there's been too much other stuff going on,but there will be a big push next week.

welcome to the show!

if one person has been influenced to get out there and put some time into a project because of this thread, you've made my day.

by the way,love the sig.......floyd rocks!:headbang:

So what kind of other stuff has been going on? even your side projects show amazing craftsmanship. The type I only have when I get drunk...then I sober up the next day and realize not only don't I have craftsmanship, but I have a fawked up pile of metal that I had thought was a success the previous night.

boring stuff, making other people's boats work and such.then i'm too beat to deal with the good stuff later in the evening.

winter really drags the drive out of a person sometimes, especially when it's barely twilight at noon.

a few more days, and the days get longer again.....i always love that time.come summer it's no problem doing 16hr days every day.:yahoo:and it's still daylight when i go to bed.

gotta fund the projects one way or another right
