well,we didn't catch anything today.

mike(mountain mike)arrived on the island this morning,and i figured he'd be tired from travelling....so i kept him busy all day.after a whirlwind tour of the projects we put the boat in the water and tried for spring salmon.no bites.
tried for halibut.no bites.
after cruising around we came back in to harbour....and hit a spring with the leg of the motor.it made the boat jump and got flung out of the water by the prop.damn things won't bite,but they'll kamikazi the boat

got more plans for tomorrow,should be a good day

I finally got to go out for the first fishing trip! Mudddyyyy.... Oh well. No bites. Good to see that you aren't wasting the good weather!

i'll be back.the job i'm on finishes tomorrow,i have a few other smaller ones to take care of before things get back to normal(or at least what passes for normal around here).

i haven't even had a chance to get the boat out since mike was here.i have done a tiny bit of work on the car,but nothing to brag about.

updates would require me actually doing something with it

i promise...i'll get back to it,just have to get all the backlog out of the way.seems like there's more people every day that want a piece of my time.not too many pieces left,and now i need to make room for the new equipment.

i was dreaming thinking i may be getting anything done at this time of year,shoulda known better

You should be pulling in some pretty good cheese with all the time your putting in Doc.
Water is high as I have ever seen it here.
A few boats that where left tied to the dock uncovered are under water.Ill recommend you for the repairs..lol!
