Gt-12

Thats going to be one heck of a tunnel between the seats.

Thats going to be one heck of a tunnel between the seats.

it will....i need to keep it as tight to the tranny as possible, but still keep room for the shifter and e-brake handle.it also needs to be removeable to service the trans, driveshaft and anything else in that area.there will be no access from the bottom.

Can't wait to see the finished product...

I think you can already see it, somewhere deep inside that crazy head of yours, if you look past all the turning gears from your 15 other projects going on at the moment.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have some vodka to enjoy :icon_bounceblue:

True 'nuff. I almost sig'd Mike's big words one... then thought naaaaah, BFH is much cool than BFW's.

I support this message. And this build!

Oh God, the puns... *groans* :D

I like the mock-up. This will be a fun winter, indeed.

I actually want to FF the fab & chassis work...skip straight to the shiny rebuilt motor!

that was a good pun:icon_rofl:

as for the fab & chassis,it's just an unfortunate thing i got to do to support the motor.i can hardly wait to rev it up.

the motor's not actually rebuilt, but it's in perfect condition.the guy i got it from was a stickler for maintenance....the oil i drained from it looked like it came right out of the jug.it's that clean inside.

update.....no tires.:annoyed:

should be monday or tuesday, but around here you never know.

otherwise, been mostly doing rust repair on the hood-had to rebuild the left front corner as it had rotted away.

the lower front valence is pretty rotten, too.i think i'll make a new one from fiberglass.i can buy a new one for $300+shipping,taxes,etc-but then i'd still need to modify it because i'm changing the way the bumper and tilt hood hinges work and the valance has notches for this.

i'll document the fiberglass work for the sake of anyone that wants to know how to do this type of stuff.it can be a handy skill to have.
