Grrr...failed inspection....

Doesn't really help you, but I brought in a jeep for a safety inspection. When I showed up the next day, there was a *HUGE* puddle under the jeep. The transfer case was leaking like a... well a sieve doesn't describe it but will have to do.

I was told that the leak would not affect the safety, but I should "probably have it looked at" ;)

nater if you need the clutch pedal cover still send me ur address thru pm and i will send it ur way might be a bitch dealing with international shippin but i would send it to ya

PM sent.

Update! Looks like the oil leak is coming from the valve cover....I am deducing this by the fact that the oil trail stops there....Gonna try tightening it down today and see if that fixes it. If not, then I will replace the gasket.

Sean-your right it doesn't help. LOL! Anything that is a Class II or Class III leak will cause you to fail inspection.

Well, took the truck into get inspected for the next year, and it failed. Didn't know where to post this as it is a multi-problem post.
Failed for:
1.)Excessive oil leak-This one has me perplexed as it is coming from the passenger side. It leaks pretty good. I tried to pinpoint it, but no luck. I did notice though that there is oil droplets visible between the head and the block.

2.) Right side E-brake is not clamping down hard enough. I have a feeling it is time to install the bracket for the E-brake from the bodylift, as the drums and shoes are brand new (1 year old)

3.)No rubber covering for the clutch pedal (anyone have a extra one or can hit a junkyard for me?)

The oil leak is my biggest problem I see. When we pulled the motor out of the 91 Mustang, it did not leak at all. Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, but your taillights passed.... right?
