So, my suspension makes a groaning sound when I turn. It only happens when the wheel is at or near full lock. It also happens when I turn slowly, like in the parking lot or something like that. Any ideas what it could be?

You sure its the suspension? It sounds more like the power steering pump it could be the spindles comming into contact with lower control arms though, check it out and see if there's any wear marks on your suspension components

if it were the power steering pump, what would the problem be.

I found the source of the noise. My steering stops are being worn away! Am I going to see any major problems with this. What would cause this? Alignment?
