Gring noise when taking off.

When I take off there is a loud grinding noise. There is a silver box where your right foot would be. I can snap a pic of where I think it is coming from if it would help.

Tomorrow I can take a video an hopefully someone can help identify the sound. But it all started when i took off this cover. Any help would be much appreciated.

Yea the silver box in the pic is where I think it's coming from. But I'll take a video today

Well, since there are no moving parts inside the computer, I wouldn't think that is the cause of your noise. Perhaps if it is loose and is vibrating during take off, but that is the only way.

Sounds like Adsm has it. Try putting some cardboard shims around it and see if it goes away
