sorry guess I posted this in the wrong swction before...I put it in the mazda section
My 5 speed in a 94 makes a grinding rattle noise occassionally. as soon as I put in the clutch it stops. Then I can drive and it won't do it for a while but comes back. The clutch is fairly new, a transmission shop pulled the tranny and replaced the throwout bearing. They said the bearings in the trans were a bit worn. It made it about 4 miles and is still doing it. Any ideas?
