Clutch started grinding in my truck. When its all the way on the floor its fine, and when its engaged all the way its fine. WHen im engaging it from a stop, it grinds while its slipping, then goes away. It wont make the noise when i let the clutch out in nutural sitting still. Any ideas?

Well im gonna change the throw out(realease bearing), pilot, and the clutch and PP it self. hopefully it fixes it

I was going to say a busted spring on the clutch disc.

I guess we'll see when you pull it all out.

The only thing that was messed up when i took it apart was a little wear on the pressure plate where the throw out bearing engages. I put a new clutch pp tob, and upgraded it to the 4.0 size and it works good now.
