will a 04-05 grill bolt on a 08 ranger? they look the similar i just want the honeycomb grille.

I dont know for sure about the 97, but my 98 has 4 small bolts that go through the top of the grille and then 3 small clips on the underside of the bottom. See if you can find a. 04'-05' grille and see if the clips and bolts match up. If they do, it might fit, but the grille itself may have diffferent contours than your hood and/or headlights, so it might not match up. If you do however het one to fit on, post up some pics, I would love to see.

It should go right in. They are the same design.
A couple phillips screws across the top, then pull out near the bottom of the grille. There's either 2 or 4 metal clips at the bottom. You might have to use a screw driver to release the clips, but usually they just release on thier own. I usually just pull untill it feels expensive.
