Grille/ Front Clip Swap

Sorry ahead of time not sure were to post this but, i am wonder what kind of work would need to be done in order to run ranger lights in a 96 mazda b4000. It doesnt matter what year ranger light, what ever would be easier lol.

People have put Mazda front ends on a ranger so I'm sure its possible.

because of how the fenders are set up for the Mazda grille, I would imagine that you would need to change out both fenders and the grille/ lights and the part that goes behind the grille and lights. probably the bumper as well, but not sure on that Hood might be able to stay but does not have the same lines as the ranger hood.

I would stay with 93 - 97 Rangers as those will be direct bolt on swaps for your 96, you will have to do some work to get the 98 + to fit.

Id think that the mounting holes for the fenders would be the same. Not sure if the curve of the fenders is different if not you could probably use your hood. But the front of a ranger is flatter? Than a Mazda. The front of my Mazda is pretty rounded. And my 92 ranger was flat

Consider the 01-03 Rangers with the Power Dome Hood.
I have seen it swapped to a 99 Ranger, so thinking it should work on earlier Rangers.
The guy used the fenders, grille, hood, the panel behind the grille and all of the accessories.

Not a really cut and dry bolt on swap but the lines do line up.

Thanks guys, yea im sure imma have to drill some new holes with the peices c clamed in place. The mazda front fender, yes, are more round then the fords. I think imma try to hit the junk yard and get fenders, hood, lights, header, and main support sometime in the next week. Ill take pictures as i go.
