Greeting fellow Ranger people, I have a 2005 Ford Ranger FX4 Level II I love it.It has 182,000 miles on it and I'm thinking
of either a 5.0 or the 300hp ecoboost 4 cylinder engine, One way or another at least a new engine and trans or who knows
This is my 5th Ranger I live in Crystal River Fl but I like to travel so I hauled my small a-frame camper to NY last summer
I was thinking of buying a 2012 F150 Fx4 but I rally like my Ranger I Just about maxed the weight on this last trip with 535lb motorcycle in the back and the a-frame camper 295lbs on hitch. My truck is not as wide as the camper and finding little in extended mirrors I put a camera in the middle of the spare on the back.

There are a few members down that way... just to hot for me though.

Maybe an AirLift system in the rear... sure would help handle the loads.

These little eco's are still pricey... but as time goes by they are getting cheaper. I've yet to drive a new Ranger with one... but it's on the to do list.

Sometime after I buy a New Bronco... I'm still thinking TDI swap for me.
