Hello all. Fingers crossed this is the ranger forum to be at.

Anywho, I am the proud new owner of a seemingly broken in 2002 Ford Ranger Edge 4x4 Supercab in the fantastic Chrome Yellow paintjob. It's got the 4.0, M5OD transmission and 94,000 miles on the clock. Over the past couple days I've learned how to stall quite a bit less in a manual vehicle and gave her some fresh oil. But the plan is to bring the mechanical status of this truck up to exemplary. Not sure where to begin as I tend to get overwhelmed with these types of things. For now, I'll wait for my title transfer to come in, swap the trans fluid, fix this leaking rear window and try to avoid thinking about my poorly undercoated frame (for now...)

Cheers to learning and accomplishing a lot with all yours help, maybe someday soon I'll see you at a meetup.

This should be useful

Thanks Ranger850. Did some light browsing through that section so far. I think I just need to determine what manufacturers to avoid and to look for proper replacement part quality. Mainly regarding about my suspension.

There is a whole section for suspension as well.
