Hi All,
Not technically a Ranger owner, but have the SUV based on the Ranger, the Everest.
Had it from new, now reads just over 100,000kms on the clock.

Im now looking at having a little fun with it. but would appreciate any pointers any of you may have to offer.

Im going to fit bagged suspension, to be able to lower one side to aid access to small children / old people. As my Everest is based on the ranger, this will need a 4 link kit on the rear, but also the strngthening plates to the front arms and top shock mount as I need to get rid of the torsion bars which I didnt know I had until recently. I want to fit the spare tyre ala ranger under the rear of the chassis.

The interior is going from dog vomit beige, to black leather, alcantara on the headlining, upgraded ( ahem ) audio, and repadded seats to remove the church pew feel of the fronts. Finally a respray in the factory white with a Ghost pearl flip in the style of the Gulf racing teams.

This is going to be done over the next 6 months or so, I finally intend to get an older ranger to turn into a ramp truck to take .my TR4 rally car and spares.

Welcome to the North American Ranger forum

Just FYI, your vehicle is based on the T6 Ranger(Mazda BT50), which we could never get here, we called it the International Ranger, it is bigger than our Rangers, and often used Diesel engines, our last diesel Ranger was in 1985

Australia got the T6 Rangers and other models based on that size platform
There are a few Australian Ranger forums and in English language

So for specific "model" questions they would be a better place to ask
For just general mechanics we can help :)

We got the T6 body size in 2019, but only with the 4cyl petrol engine with automatic trans, still no diesels offered and probably never a manual transmission
