Hi All,
Just signed up, but I've been reading this forum for a while.
I will be doing 2.9L to 4.0L OHV Turbo transplant (build) in my car and will need probably some help in sourcing parts and advice.
In Europe there is almost nothing available for these engines...

This is the ranger truck forum but I guess you are having a hard time finding info on that swaps except here?

There are lots of members that will be happy to help you out.
We have a member that will be sick seeing what you're doing, so I'm going to give him your thread to peruse. He is all about the 2.9...

Thanks guys. This is an European Ford Capri from 1979.

And yes, I know it’s Ranger forum, but both engines 2.9L and 4.0L were in Rangers and this forum is i think biggest resource of information about these engines.
Not much Rangers/Explorers in Europe.

I owned a couple of Mercury Capris way back in the mid-1980's. I thought they had great styling and were fun to drive.
