South Florida that is.
Names Alex. I'm the proud owner of a 1990 Ford Ranger XLT (the one with that little 2.3 4-banger) with only 60,000 miles (or maybe 160,000? odometer stops at 5 characters, so I can't really tell). I've had it for a little over a month now and so far it runs great. The previous owner used it as a mud truck but took good care of it. He did, however, do a cheap man's lift with some blocks for the leafs and some pucks up front for the springs. Also runs some 29" all terrains and has a cherry bomb exhaust (like in the old cars from way back when). There's also a cone filter instead of the standard square intake (all mod's made by the previous ownder). The only mods I've done for it so far was made a new exhaust mount, and also tore out the carpet and Rhino-Lined the interior floor so it would be easier to clean and could get wet.
Im going to college in a few days, and this is what's gunna take me there. Going in for mechinical engineering as my major. I was hoping that with the training i get in school, as well as the resources it provides me, I could make my own custom Pre-Runner.
Being a college student, funding for it will probably be few and far in between, as most of what I make will go to schooling and living expenses first, so this build I have in mind probably wont happen for a good while.
Anyway, here the truck...mind the "mini mudders", previous owner did it, not me.
