Well finally back around to my 2nd Ranger (first was '91 xcab, 4x4, 4.0, 5spd). This time around, I got a '90 with everything the same except the A4LD

Price was too good to pass up with what it had on it. Hopefully a 5spd swap is in the future. A4LD is a rebuild, so we'll see how that goes.

For now, maintenance and getting familiar with the Ranger.

Been lurking for years and glad to be back.

Welcome! I'm only about a half-hour outside of your neighborhood - it's nice to see a few more Texans around. I'm with you on preferring a manual over a slush-box. The folks on here are pretty helpful, and there's no such thing as too much info on a swap, so when it comes time to ditch that auto, post up!
