Green Acres is the place to be...

Why my yard looks like a warzone...

The phone company knifed in fiber optic lines just by chance, I will have cable and high speed internet available without a dish.

Had a complete sewer system put in, new tank and drain field. It happened during the day so I didn't get any pics. While the hoe was there we had them pull dead trees out of the yard and live ones off the terrace. He wouldn't give a straight answer about what he was going to charge or I would have had him clean up the windbreak too. $150 extra for the treework he did do.

I had already used the ol' B with the "Roderick-Lean" single disk to smooth out around the tank. Not sure of the spelling but that is what brand my grandfather and dad say it is. It worked great though. I am going to let the laterials get some rain and a couple freeze cycles to settle before I mess with it.

Before we did anything, stuff had been moved around as the family rooted for treasures:

The great-grandparent's bedroom, the car wallpaper is really cool.

The former guest bedroom, the one I picked out. It is the biggest and the only one with a floor register.

That's a lot of work, good job.
It doesn't look as if you used any poly between the drywall and insulation. Up here that has to be done because moisture will ruin the "r" value of the insulation.
Any how, I wish you the best,

Richard

The guy I hired to do the drywall did it, I am not for sure what he did. I was avoiding the dust (allergies) and just popped in to snap pics while they were at lunch.

Compared to what it had before (no insulation) it is going to be an improvement. The room isn't really heated either, that would probably help too.
