I've been ordering parts from these guys for a few years now:
http://www.trademotion.com/PARTLOCATOR/INDEX.CFM?SITEID=214771
They're a dealer. Their prices on Motocraft parts are the lowest I could find and their service is amazing. The parts techs are master parts technicians and they've never messed up a single part order. They've also worked some small feats of magic in sourcing obscure parts for me like interior parts that match for my Mocha 1994 Ranger. And, they spend time on the phone answering all my dumb-ass questions like, "Why are the new oil filters smaller..."
So, they always get my business.
Anyway, just thought I'd post a plug for them after ordering tuneup parts today. If you call on the phone -- which I recommend -- you can say you found out about them on the modularfords.com forum. If you order online, they're probably going to call you anyway to confirm details since that trademotion web UI is kinda lame. So, I just call in the order to avoid delay on that.
As an aside, that forum is pretty cool. It's for high performance mods to Mustangs and such. But, there's some interesting info on that forum and plenty of techs as members for our tough questions.
I don't work for either Modular Fords or Tousley.
The generic parts dealers and the parts kinda scare me so I stay away from those, even though many people I know swear by RockAuto. If anyone sees lower prices on real Motorcraft with real parts techs fielding the phone calls, post back please.
