grad project

those two links are for first gen Rangers...they're OK to work with, but they are both overpriced for a project...you can probably find one for less than $500 if you look...I wouldn't pay more than that for a project truck...since you are going to remove the motor and put in a 302...but a two wheel drive would be easiest...and cheapest...

I'd shop around a whole lot more. The '92' says "Parts Truck"? Even have a title? 3K can get you a good running truck with the 4.0 in it so you would have the 8.8 rear end and better all around.

my buddy has a s-10 with a 383 in it 4 sale. it has the auto in it and a decent rear end, i dont remember what it is. we were gonna set it up for drag racing but ran out of time and money.

dude you should find a gen 5 ranger to do it in that would be pretty unique being as there are only like 3 or 4 that i have seen

have you ever done any engine work

if so id say find a cheap 4 banger 5 speed and turn it into a fire breathing 2.3 or 2.5 turbo.....
its not really hard to do

i think my next truck is gonna be a turbo, if i can find a 4x4 4cylinder first or second gen

if its 2nd d do the first gen swap tho

only engine work ive done is pull a 5.0 and trans out of a 89lx mustang and put it a a 89 gt thats was just bolt in
