like the hood scoop...............where did you get it
great pics

I found the hood scoop in the corner of the shop I started working at. Its looks like it was made to go on the other way with the vents in the front but I thought it looked better and sleaker turned around.

I like the hood scoop a lot...I still think we ought to stripe the hood....

I like that moss green paint on the gen 2. Where did he get it painted?

I painted it myself. I do body work. Kyle M. (my cousin) actaully had that paint in his garage. It's an old industrial coating and I mixed in some reducer and hardner, it turned out really good. Its a satin finish so it doesnt shine which I love. This is my first vehicle that i didnt care how clean it was.

Yeah, I like that look too. It looks great!

Did you know that it is illegal to be on the powerlines? If the Lake county police catch you there they will confiscate your vehicles.
It is real B.S. though, there are no signs and plenty of trails.
The Tin cup CROSSES the powerlines, The next time you are in the area I could show you some more trails.

I know its illegal on a motorcycle or quad but if your plated with the secratery of state I belive you can. There are a lot of cabins off the powerlines and no other way to get to them? But i know what ya mean they love to write tickets up there. I think it makes then feel good about themselves. They dont mark where you can and cannot ride.

There is a county maintained road that runs down the length of the powerlines, That is fine. Don't get a single tire off the county road though. There is a two track that is clearly visable and no signs to stay off but, That is trespassing.
I used to maintain the Lake county police cars. I talked to them quite a bit.

Hey that is good to know. Because that is really fun to run, I guess we'll be keeping our butts of that one I dont need any tickets. I got one up in lake county about 3 years ago on my dirtbike and it wasnt cheap. They let me ride it back to the cabin, but that was DNR not Lake county police.

Yeah, Chase hill is an awesome hill climb! I didn't see any of your pics there but I think a couple of the pics were just over the top, on the other side.
Short and steep is pretty cool but, not that difficult with good tires and 4wd. A lot of nice wash outs and mud holes too.
The tin cup is mostly just an ATV trail that is open to trucks. They're still better than a drive down the highway though.

Where did you guys here about the Tin cup, What brings you way up here?
Have you been to the Manistee nation forest? from what I understand, there are more trails there but, I haven't been there. Those trails are much closer to Baldwin.

I ride tincup all the time on my dirtbike since i was about 12. We also ride the loops north of baldwin. Its only a 45min drive from where we live wich isnt bad at all for a good day of wheelin. I look on the internet at some trials in the manistee national. but i dont think you can run any of those i know the manistee forest drops down in our area, and ive got alot of tickets there.
