Found some powder coated 5 hole 15" aluminum Ranger wheels with almost new tires (like less than 1000mi. on them new) for $250. I wanted to replace my worn tires and corroded deer hoof 15" rims. My original plan was to just prep and paint the deer hooves and buy some general grabber AT2's but that would have been close to $550 after all was said and done just for the tires. So i got a good deal.

The only downside is that they dont have the center caps. Where is a good place to find the center caps for these (for a good price)? Also, will i need different lug nuts? Or do the deer hoof center caps and the 5 hole centers mount to the same nuts?

Might try ebay.

The 17's I got for my F-150 were missing a centercap, I got a nice one off of there for about half of what Ford wanted for one.

I am going to say be weary of the lugnuts as they look like shank style lug nuts and you need acorn style lug nuts (like most other rangers had)

The center caps dont fit. they are the larger round ones on the deer hoof. Not the 5 sided ones that fit into that recessed area.

By different lug nuts, i meant will i need different lug nuts than this style to attach the center caps to? The lug nuts fit the same way on these wheels as they did on the deer hoof ones... they are acorn/tapered lugnuts...just Ford's long ones that the center caps clip on to. When were shank-style lug nuts last used on a passenger vehicle?

I would feel real good about that deal just paid $900 for a stock size set for my 3/4 ton and I talked them down 10%.Usually you can get chrome lug nuts for about $1 a piece at a tire shop then they would look pretty good till you run across center caps.

Yeah i just looked on LMC fronts are $59.95ea. rears are $49.95ea. I'm not sure if I wanna spend $140 to get hub caps delivered... I have better things to buy (like a hurst short-throw). I might just paint the calipers, drums and the lockout hubs and get some chrome lugs. I'd feel better about spending $30 haha. I'll scour eBay for a while...
