Got robbed, agian

Where can you get the cheaper cameras from? Im thinking two or three of those out front and flood the front of our house with lights. Its usually pretty dark since treesblock the light from the street lamps in our yard. I have wanted a dog for years here but they say no. Ill try again now lol. But the camera set up to record on the computer is a good idea. Thanks for the ideas guys.

Hey Maverick let me know where to get those stickers!

Interesting idea, but I think the buzzer will just get ignored and probably turned off after the 579,354th time the neighbor's cat sets it off.

Not if the bat is used on the cat.

the camera he got came from Frys electronics they were Airlink he said that they are normaly $99 but hey got them on sale with rebates. But I'm sure yo can go on line ad fine some. but for more info you can go to FRYS.com and look up security camera. or go to a electronics store that has things to build computers (or a place that has everything electronic like frys does)

i think its time to get a big ole dog outside an name him beast! haha

I have come close to being de-balled by your dog, I would have to agree with that Idea

get one of them signs "insured by smith and wesson"

actually the thieves are probably too stupid to know what it means so it wouldent work.

i used to live in a rough neighborhood in highschool, i got theift insurance on my apartment and my truck, so if anything got stolen id get redeemed for it. Nothing ever did, but i did have a dog that would scare the crap out of chuck norris, his name was actually kujo hahah.

FWIW, I suggested a German Shepherd because of their normal temperment. They are typically good with children and family. They typically listen well, are smart, love their family, and make fine watchdogs. The one my parents have has kinda become the typical grouchy old dog (he's over 12 now), but properly trained, IMHO, they're the best. They don't have the bad image that Pitbulls and Dobermans have either. Yes, my parent's dog has bit people, but all of them blatently ignored the "Beware of dog" signs and when confronted by the dog, promptly made threatening gestures (waving a clipboard or similar at a dog defending his/her territory is a good way to get bit, standing still or slowly retreating is usually better).

1) German Shepherds make great pets. Anyone who has entered my parents yard that their German Shepherd doesn't know, and if no family member is present to tell the dog it's ok, gets bit. Period. A few strategically placed signs warning of a dog will cover your butt from a lawsuit as well.

Agree. Works great

I got ya 100%. My parents wont get one because they don't want a big one, lame. plus they dont want to have to take care of it. On the opposite end my dad had Four great danes, plus my German shepherd sheep dog mix. So five big dogs in all, and all out in the country a ways. Its nice have big dogs like that that bark loud at strangers and harass them.

Something like this hooked up to the body of your car and grounded with a metal stake might help.:icon_idea:

Just water the ground around your car at night to ensure a good ground. A good fencer will make your arm feel half numb for an hour or two. Should make them think twice, especially if it has more bite than our 20 year old one. If a 2000lb cow will respect one, a 200lb punk should be more than a little surprised.:icon_surprised:

Do like what the dude does on American History X. Open the door and blow their brains out! Not really but just shoot them in the leg. :) then drag them inside your house- lol.

Automatic weapons, tactical shotguns and a garbage can.

Couple thoughts...

ummm I'm not sure about where you leave or where the O.P. lives but around here (both the city I currently live in and the one I moved out of) Having a couple of warning signs posted won't do a darn bit of good legally.

I know I guy in the city I used to live in that lost his house both vehicles and just about everything else (especially the dog which was put down) because his dog bit someone. he tried the whole "I have warning signs" bit and it didn't do him any good.

what the garbage can for? I was thinking a wood chipper and a bridge to spray it off of. the trick is to really clean it up good before returning it make sure there is no jewlery left in it.

I say wait for the MOFO with a smith and wessen, no don't go get a car alarm dude, it will be good investment
