Got my leather seats but a few questions??

you can listen to anything you want but the thinner WILL dry out the leather. Stupid me dropped a small drop of paint on a leather sofa a few years back..I tried to quickly dab off the paint with a little thinner on a rag and within a month the section of sofa was all dried out and destroyed. DO NOT USE THINNER ON LEATHER

you obviously did something wrong. like not treat the leather afterwards. ive dyed my black couch in my living room with great results. heck, if it will prove a point. ill post a vid of how to do it.

Downey for the love of god do not rattle can those seats:bawling:! Try some Lincolin black dye with some Lincolin or Kiwi black shoe polish. I know this will look and last way longer than rattle can and it will help the leather be supple. after you dye them use mink oil or neatsfoot oil to maintain the suppleness. When cleaning time comes around use saddle soap and than apply the oil. You can find this stuff at any shoe repair shop.

Why dont you just go to an interior resto/customization and talk to those guys. They will know exactly what to do in order to do it right. If your afraid they will tell you to recover them, thats probably the best option. I'd hate to see you ruin some nice seats even if you did get them for free.

Im afraid of messing them up too since i have been waiting so long for a nice set of seats like these

Does your neighbors have leather seats...if so practice on theres.
