DOH!! Got it stuck.

A buddy from work and I went wheeling after work today. We took my Ranger and his Chevy duallie. Unfortuantely this is the only hole I got to hit before I fried the alternator. I should have known better and I wasn going to go around it but he started taunting me so I gave it a shot. I pretty much knew I was going to get stuck because he got stuck towards the end and had to rock it in 4x4 to get out. So the ruts were pretty deep when I tried to go through. But my diff was also scraping the ground most of the way through the hole. So that contributed as well.

Ha! Looks fun. Now to fix her up again...what size tires are you running?

BTW, I wouldn't suggest a remanufactured alternator. Unreliable and quality not as good as a new one (worth the extra $40+ or so). I've had a few shit out on mine and other cars.

That's the way it happens! You're just bound to break things when you wheel.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Right now I am running 33's on it. But I have a line on some 35" Thornbirds. I love wheeling I just don't like going to that spot anymore. Everytime I have been down there I have broken something. First it was a lower shock mount. Then the clutch went. And now this. Don't get me wrong I enjoy every minute that I am wheeling but I just wish I would stop breaking shit. And I got a 130 amp Exp. alternator to replace the one I fried. I just need to install it tomorrow morning.

lol i have spots like that here that people just wont go because they get stuck and break down

I don't mind getting stuck it's just when shit breaks that I get down about wheeling.

Thanks for the offer Wizkid but I just got an Explorer alt. installed yesterday.

Rob that is indeed the C&D canal. Under the Rt. 1 bridge on the North side.
