picked up an 84 ranger with a 2.8 and i think a c5...it has the bump in the pan.....great shape....new doors,fenders, hood and rad suport. no bed....sand blasted frame and painted black!!!! $300

any who pros cons on the 2.8....if i did that duraspark swap....better mpg and little more power?

The 2.8L too BA! You won't be able to handle it. And forget forget about putting Duraspark in it the rest of the truck will just blow up for sheer awesomeness!

Well a little over exaggerated. But I love My 2.8L! They are pretty good little motors.

I would do the TBI swap instead of Duraspark. Carbs are for lawnmowers and chainsaws, not trucks!
