i just recently got new front tires, alignment and they ordered some camber bushings and aligned the camber on my truck...so it was great at first then like the next day i noticed my right front tire is like back to the way it was....hanging all sideways negative camber like crazy so i take it back and tell them they got it eff'ed up so then they redid that side and tightened it back up as tight as i goes they said...so i drove it home and it was fine, today when i got to work i noticed its back to the way it was negative camber again just on the passenger side...i mean wtf is goin on here? are they forgetting something? the guy at the counter said if it happends again then maybe they will have to tack weld it...but im thinking something isnt right...just hoping somebody can shed some light before i beat somebodys arse or burn my truck....thanks...btw this is a freaking Goodyear dealer you would think they would know wtf there doin...im taking it back 2mara morning to them to see if they can get it right this farking time...

i would tell them to replace the new camber bushings with a different set. maybe you got some that were messed up? i wouldnt let them tack weld it. just make them do it right or give you your money back

yea i wouldnt think you would have to go as far as tack welding them so they dnt move but something must be effed up...the other side hasnt moved but it makes me wonder if it eventually would...not sure what to do or what could be wrong

turns out these dorks said the only solution to fixing this problem is like 3 tack welds on each bushing so it stops turning, ive had to take it back 3 times because of the bushings spinning and making it off camber again...any1 heard of this ever happening?

i've got the bushings in mine and they never move. maybe they just don't know what they are doing. a bolt goes through to pinch them tight, you might try just tightening them yourself. maybe the bushings aren't for your truck. If they were just a little too small of an OD they might not get pinched tight enough. DONT let them weld it.

well...they said that they correctly installed them and that they are tight as they go and the right ones cause i asked and they said its the only ones listed or something...and they wouldnt refund me for what i paid to be done right so all they could come up with is to tack weld them in 3 spots on each bushing so i think 2mara or wednesday im suppose to get my truck back...i had no other choice its a pretty good shop supposedly....a goodyear gemini shop...idno im kinda tired of these weird ass problems with this truck i feel im gonna have to buy a new vehicle, im not trying to have my truck cause me to lose my job.

Syko I've been having almost the same exact problem as you, same side even! I lifted my front 2" and got the adjustable bushings, had an alignment specialist shop align the front end and the passenger side FELL OUT. I took it back to the shop 3 times, kept happening, and the owner was a prick.. Asked me how high I jumped the truck O.o The closest thing to a solution I've gotten to is soaking the bushing in red loctite and jamming the bastard in there. I'm thinking of taking it to a shop that specifically knows I-beam Rangers and see if they have any better luck/knowledge, I'll keep you posted if I figure anything out.

yea i got mine tack welded 3 places on each bushing...i didnt wanna do it but it seemed like my only choice...got that done maybe a week ago and its still holding....knock on wood.

Yeah I'd knock on a Sequoia haha.. At least it's holding right? I'm gonna mess with my camber tonight (truck pulls to one side) and see if having everything straight will help things stay put. :icon_bounceblue:

ok the adjustable busing are crap had the same problem and had the shop tell me the spec for the alignment and got the cerrect offset bushing from autozone
