hey is anyone here wheeling a 2.3? I am buying a ranger 4cyl 5sp 4wd i am planning on just doing a 4inch suspension kit and a 3 inch body on 33s .but i am just wondering if anyone on here has this will also be my DD also anyways get at me thanks.

I have a 3.0 but there are plenty of people on here wheelin thier 2.3's with bigger tires. as long as your axels can take the stress (is you have a dana 35 and 7.5 you should be fine) and yyou have the right gears it would wheel fine.
Personally i would just do the 4in sus. lift and do a lil fender trimming

yeah, gears are DEFINETELY needed, I was running my stock '90 2.3 4x4 with 4.10's and 31's and it was geared too tall, had to be going 75 to hold speed in 5th gear, was useless at 55...

will it do ok on the road im new to rangers and how is the tuff country lift

The Tuff Country is definitely a good kit for what it costs. The coil springs are stiffer than some others though (which is very stiff).

Gear your axles to 4.88:1 and you shouldn't have any issues with the 2.3L pushing a set of 33" tires.

i just want it to function pretty well in both areas.. ya know im new to the ttb suspension .. i want flex but i want to be able to drive it on road too
