Got a driveshaft from the wreckers...should I have it balanced?

Got a drive shaft from the wreckers. Should I have it balanced before I run it?

How can I tell if it needs a balance? Will I feel it in the shifter?
 
Since they are relativity easy to install, i would install it first and take it for a drive, making sure you get up into the higher RPM or higher speeds, just to make sure there are no or little vibrations. If you don't feel any, I wouldn't worry about having it balanced. If you do feel vibration, then have it balanced.
