When I was doing my tire shopping last year I found these for cheap, but could find hardly any info on them online or anywhere. I do see them on alot of explorers and blazers around town though, so here it is...

When I bought these I didn't expect much, but they were cheap and made by a good brand so i got them. The first year they were on my RWD S10 it was hard to tell how good they did because the truck was so bad! But on the B2 these tires have really surprised me! They have very good traction in the snow, even hard pack. They get me everywhere but off road in 2WD. they're not that great in water, it's not hard to hydroplane. On dry pavement they're good if a little noisy. For the price, they're really a great tire IMO. These make snow and moderate off roading easy.

Pros: good in snow and off road, cheap, don't seem to wear too fast.
cons: not good on water, noisy and kinda floaty on dry roads.

Here's a few pics of them after a good run in the snow! The tread looks like an early 80's BFG AT or something...

i saw those tires on sale at a local tire place and sent my lil sister to get some for her jeep. they were $340 installed for 4 235/75r15's so you couldnt beat the price. they are a great tire for her jeep so i even went and got some for my 94 in the same size. i have no complaints at all. they work great as a dd's tire for an awesome price

We had a set of those on my mom's old s10 blazer. I agree, they went good in the snow and all, but they didn't wear for shit. When the crappy 2.8 spun a bearing and we junked it, they only had about 7k or 8k miles on them and they were already down to half tread or less. Even for being fairly cheap, I still think they sucked. I would never buy them again unless they were free or damn close.

Mine cupped a lot on my ranger, and looked like hell after about 10,000 miles. Also, the hydroplaning wasn't as rare as I'd liked with them. They were great in snow and on ice though. I switched to Uniroyal Liberators a month ago, and I'll see how they do.

I have them on my truck and i got them 4 years ago cause that's all i could get but not good in the rain even though im 2wd they arent that great in the snow. they spin farely easy and imo they dont hold up one day i was driving down the freeway and i got a nickel sized hole in center of the tread man was that suprizing but mine are starting to crack in between the tread and are getting low so i ordered some treadwright M/T's in the same size for the price i payed for my wranglers

+1 on the liberators. i had them on my donor truck and they were seriously impressive offroad. quiet on the street and good in the rain. i think they're basically the uniroyal equivalent of these goodyears that the op's reviewing.
