So in the process of taking my transmission out of my truck today I found that my front driveshaft had a good amount of movement. I took the driveshaft off and sure enough it is the "cardon joint" that is worn and all it was was a bunch of rusty needle bearing and i need to do a full rebuild on the joint.
I am curious though as I have been unable to find a good quality joint to replace it with, all i have found so far is this:
http://www.finditparts.com/t/317/manufacturer/neapco/products/411691/neapco-7-0081ng
this is the same part number that the guy uses in the tech library rebuild. Does anyone know if timken or spicer make this part and if so what the part# is?
Thanks
