It's time I got some new tires and I want to go to a mud terrian tire or a really agressive all terrian at the least:D. I would like it to wear good but will be agressive enough for me not to get stuck in my drive way like I do right now with my bald tires:annoyed:. I was looking at bfg mud terrians but i didn't know how long they would last on the roads. The tires would need to stand up well on gravel roads as thats the roads I travel on to and from my hunting spots.

Any recommendations would be welcome

You won't go wrong with the BFGs.

I've had good luck with the Pro Comps as well.

BFG's are good tires but they are a little over priced in my opinion... and i dunno how they would hold up on a ranger, i know they didnt last that long on my 93 F-250 though

all you need for dd and some and hunting is bfg at. they hold up great and the are good offroad.

I can't say anything bad about ProComp's... I rather enjoy the set I have. Actually, it's my second set of Extreme MT's.

I really like my Toyo's, and they're wearing really well so far.

Those Dura-Tracs look pretty sweet... the last thing I had M/T's on was that dually... they were 10-ply Mastercraft Courser MT's

I second the toyos, mine are in pretty good shape and have never gotten stuck in them:headbang:

I had a set of Pro-Comp M/T's they seemed to last forever between my friends and me selling/trading them back and forth over a few year period. Now I have a set of Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ, I've had them on the ranger for about a year now and I haven't noticed any wear yet. Both tires do very well in the mud/snow too.

I really like the look of those dura trac's they're cheaper than the bfg's and they look like they would wear very well yet let me still go where I want to go without to much trouble. If anyone has them how are they wearing and are they decent in the mud and snow.

I'll throw Coopers in there. Cooper makes some damn good tires.

I run the Discoverer S/T on my Dakota and they are a bit loud but look great and perform great on road, mud, snow and not bad at all in icy stuff for a mud type tire.

The Discoverer STT is a really great tire, quiet and excellent performance.
