Good exhaust

I am looking for a good exhaust for my truck I would like it to have a good rumble and be loud. My truck is a 96 stx 5spd 4.0 I have a buget so it needs to be fairly cheap.any help welcome

flow master 40 series. stay away from glass packs.

x2 on the 40 series. It should work fine for you.

Dynomax makes good cat back kits that are cheaper than any others. They are quality kits. One for your truck would probably be around $180 or so.

A Cherry Bomb muffler will be loud and very cheap ($20), but it may be obnoxious.

I have the dynomax on my 4 liter and like it. it has a noticeable power difference and has a little bit of tone to it. Its not loud just good tone

go with the flowmaster 40 series muffler and an exhaust tip, u'll like it, its got a pretty good sound to it!

Should I just get the 40 series and an chrome exhaust tip or go with a resonater tip?

chrome tips are for ricers and low riders (like doorgunner's)

In my 02 hooker max flows are far better. There cheaper and come painted to fight off rust where the standard flowmasters rust in a few months depending on where you live. The hooker max flow is made to be quiet during idle and crusie and a nice crisp sound during accel. its also a strait thru muffler which keep the gases flowing (velocity up) instead of a flowbastid that decompresses the gases to move around bafflers further hurting flow and velocity to recompress to exit the muffler back into a pipe (bottle neck)

Or any other strait thru like magnaflow, glass pack, dynomax ultras, bullets....

does anyone have any of cherry bombs mufflers(i'm not talking about the glasspacks) i was wondering if they sounded good on a 4.0 or not. I want cherry bombs sound man I love those little babys go by someones house that you know or want to bug late at night and drop her into 4th without slowing down it's fun on a v8 but I didn't know if it would just sound stupid on a v6 or not.
