Good everyday and weekend wheeling tires

i like these, dakota futura tires. from pep boys, tread patteren very similar to the bfg a/t. i run these exclusivly in the winter. will be putting a set on the S-blazer to run year-round. when i got the set i have now (bought 4-5 years ago) they were only about $53 a tire. close to $100 a tire now. used to come in 2 different load ranges and muiltple sizes. pep boys site is awful and hard to search, i know the 235/75/15 size still exists. this is a 50,000 mile rated tire. had a set on a 2wd 3/4 ton and did just as well in the snow as my ranger 4x4 does.

I have these 31x10.50x15 Goodyear Authority's on my 91 for about 3 months and with 3500 miles on them there is on sign of wear. They work great in the snow, and what little mud I have been in have felt good, very little road noise also. The only problem with them is the only place to get them is Walmart, but for $560 mounted and balanced I won't complain.

Because they are the type of tire Ford wanted (all-terrain) and BFG bid lowest.

I love my BFG AT, but you can check out General Grabber AT2. They are a simillar tire at a lower price. I've seen them actually get slightly better reviews than the BFG's.

I have run both on the same vehicle. The Generals are better.
