ok I got my motor mounts today so providing that my oil pan shows up I will be placing my motor in my chasis this weekend, so does anyone have some good advice or tips that can make this as smooth as possible. I am using the stang vert mounts, c6 trans, hedmen hedders for a fox body (may have to mod). This is getting put in a bare rolling chasis with no body on it,the plan is to place the trans mount in the factory location and lower the motor till the mounts contact the cross member, mark the location, and drill a slotted hole and lower the motor back into place and shim if necessary to get level. Seems simple enough, my goal is only to get the motor bolted in this weekend, that being said, if you have any advice on location, left to right, where the final position should be, Im listening i have never done this before and you guys have so any tips are appreciated, thanks in advance.

I have an aftermarket trans crossmember that fits inside the framerails. I used this (it can slide forward and back) to center the trans, making it easier to get the whole thing lined up.
