Anyone have any experience with GoLights? The models with a remote so you can pivot and tilt the mounted spotlight to shine at whatever location you want.
Sounds like something I'd like my ranger to have, not many reviews out there though.

I've installed a few at work onto service/work trucks.

Work well, but are expensive.

I have one...Mine is round though and a optional suction cup base....Very useful though.

IMHO, a "must have" item if you've got a winch -- sounds stupid I know, but if I had a dollar for every "after dark" extraction I'd prolly have a whole mess of dollars. :)

Having a respectible light that can point-along a winchline is damned handy. In fact, I just recently acquired yet another of these GoBees for a planned winch installation. handy to have both the winch and the lighting be "remote" as well ...

Just my thoughts though.

I would just test your manhood and put a pillar mounted spot light in...

A lot of people up here especially snowplow operators have them. They come in handy when you need to look around while plowing.

All of the police SUV's (Explorers) around here have them (A whopping two of them :P).

They're a good light. I've installed a few of them in our emergency response vehicles. I also did a couple installs of them on boats and some personal vehicles who do work out in the field.

I'd like to see a 2million candle power version, but they're pretty bright as it is. Just be sure that when you're travelling, the light is pointed to the rear...this will stop any rocks or other road stuff from damaging the lens. Also...don't forget that it's on the roof! I had one guy forget it was on his topper and two days after installing it he drove under a low bridge and ripped it off (damaged the topper to the point of replacement and had to buy a new light).

Never heard of a problem, but they are a little slow to move when it's cold out (ie -20*C), but they've always worked.

i have used them alot, when i was deployed over seas they were a must my truck at the time had three of them one for the driver one for the tc and one for the gunner, very useful and durable, can handle alot of extreme weather, i currently have one on mine and its great in the cold so you dont have to stick your arm out
