Pretty sure clutch slave cyl goin bad.Have to pump clutch to get in gear.Just bought truck today $900 good other than clutch,thanks:icon_confused:
 
I would suggest check the system first. Any leaks around the master or slave? Then make sure the fluid is up. Next bleed any air out of it. Had a Triumph Spitfire with air in the system would do the same until I bled the air out of it.

Yes, +1 to above post

Ranger hydraulic clutches can get air in the system, making it hard to shift into 1st or Reverse when stopped.
There is a clutch fluid(it's brake fluid) reservoir on the firewall drivers side, remove the cap and make sure it is full, if it gets low then air will go into the system.
