Well figured out the slave cylinder is actually shot...sucks living in an apartment complex that doesnt let you work on vehicles....So next week I gotta sneak around and pull it out anyway and pray they arent watching this time

Nice you got a wife that can drive a manual and fix her own car. My GF can drive a stick and she knows how to check her oil. But getting her to change her own oil, that's something totally different. How come the rest of us aren't so lucky to have mechanically inclined women in our lives?
i don't want a girl who's going to say "it's your coil" me going, "no, it's not" her going, "check the damn coil!" me going "NO, i just replaced the coil, it's not the damn coil!!!!!" then it being the ****ing coil...

Sounds like my wife. She didn't know much about cars until she started helping me build engines. (Hey she said she wanted to learn). Her specialty now is diagnosing brake problems. And yes dear, I'll take care of that 45 mile an hour miss in your Suburban just as soon as I fix the fender of my truck where the cow hit me....

i don't, though i wish mine wouldn't stick on (ebrake)
bunch of people in my local club are trying to tell me to check this and check that... screw it! this is a good excuse to go put some explorer parts on my truck... i've got a theory that i can do a full bolt on disk brake swap on my truck... pics will ensue... should have disks by the end of the month, maybe next month, if all goes to plan
